Podcast download urls not being read correctly

Subscribe to this podcast http://www.sceen.fm/sceenfm_podcast/rss/podcast.xml

When trying to play or download some of the podcasts, winamp gives a http 404 error Not Found error. Winamp scrolls the error message and url and from loking at this it seems to be missing underscore characters in the url. If i manually extract the same file url that doesnt work from the feed and paste it in a browser it works so the fault is not with the feed and it missing files, it must be with winamp.

In the feed provided try to download the latest podcast titled 058 Fritz Kalkbrenner (SUOL)
this is the url embedded in the feed.

You will find winamp can not play or download it for some reason. I think this must be a bug.

Just tried this on Beta 5.7 and seem to be repeating your results.

058 Fritz Kalkbrenner (SUOL) fails to download.
057 by Fractious (Trapez) downloads fine.
056 by Flash Atkins (Paper Recordings) fails to download.

Going to the website and looking at the URLs my wild guess is there is a problem with that %20 in the address (the space character). Of the three I tried above, the ones with a space in failed.

aye, it's because their server is expecting the url encoded space but the xml seems to not have provided that (which is what Winamp is using as we try not to mess around with urls incase it then breaks things). based on how everything else in the feed is done, it should have an underscore in there but someone seems to have messed up.

from a Winamp view point, i'm not sure i necessarily want to mess around with things, though converting spaces to %20 should be safe enough - seeing as it's the norm for urls anyway and the server should be able to cope (and if not, we revert the change or make an option).

so the simple summary is the issue is caused by inconsistencies in the feed and it not url encoding what their server needs for the files it is trying to supply and Winamp is just attempting to use what is provided to it.
