Auto-subtracting playlist

This is a big 'wish' item I've had for years.... and perhaps it is doable now, if some one has a suggestion, I'd be grateful...

Anyway... I like to load my entire library of 26000+tracks into one playlist, randomize it, and then play it on shuffle.... I would like a feature that would auto-remove played tracks from the playlist as it is played...

So then, at any time, I could look at the final track's number and always see a smaller number.
I could randomize the playlist at anytime and none of the played tracks would be in the 'new' playlist.
I could be sure that no track is going to be replayed, even if winamp or the computer crashes and I lose the 'recently played' in the Media Library.
If Winamp were allowed to play uninterrupted, then, approxamately 65 days later, there'd be nothing left to play and it would be done.

Whaddaya think? Is there some combination of plugins/settings that would accomplish this?

If not, I'd like that plugin please.

I thought I saw a very old plugin that did exactly what you're wanting. If you still can't find it post back and I'll see what I can do tommorow.

I think you're referring to Playlist File Remover (http://forums.winamp.com/showthread.php?t=157049). It is one of DrO's plug-ins that he removed from circulation because he was too busy to keep it updated to work correctly with the Winamp versions released since June 2006.

This plugin will never truly replace DrO's Playlist File Remover but it will do exactly what you have described (if I interpreted what you described correctly), remove items from your playlist when Winamp finishes playing them.

Yes this would wonderful I do the same with my much smaller playlist. I have downloaded the BogProgDequer1_0Setup file and will also try it. However having this ability in the main program would be brilliant.

Do those still work with the latest version of Winamp? Several forum members have said it doesn't.

Hi folks

I use the 5.572 version under Windows XP (!) and it works fine. Load it and try it, you'll see if it works with the WA version you use.
