Saw it on TNT, so it was missing something with the censorship...

The chase scene could've done without the lame CG airborne stunt in the end too...God, that irks me every time...

The World's Fastest Indian

An incredible AND TRUE story about an elderly motorcycle guy who wants to take his 40 year old Indian from New Zealand to Utah to try to break the land speed record.
It's funny and nearly heartbreaking in so many places and the ending summaries are amazing at what eventually happens to him.
Anthony Hopkins did an outstanding job of acting in this.

Robert Downey has always cracked me up. He's now showing his age and heroin use but the humor hasn't left his characters.

I watched two movies this weekend...

A Sound of Thunder

Half way through this, I found myself saying: "Come on...get on with it"
I knew what the ending was going to be and I started getting bored with it.
And some of the special effects were way to phoney.

The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe

Pretty darn good if you like these kind of movies, which I do.
The acting by these kids was really believable and the effects were great.
Also some very nice scenery, cinematography, and sound.

Last few movies I saw:

"Night Of The Living Dead" => yes, the original film by Georges Romero. It's so painfully bad that I have to murder it on Imdb when I have the time.

"Fragile" => Watched it only because I liked Calista Flockhart in Ally McBeal. Sleep-inducing "ghost haunts a place and pisses everyone off" film. It's so unoriginal that you have to wonder why it even got made.

I recently watched Tron, it was interesting. I saw American History X a while ago, that was a very deep movie, although I think it could have been put together better, maybe. A while back a friend of mine had a Jim Henson marathon, and I thought The Dark Crystal was pretty weird, and I missed most of Labyrinth so I can't really make a judgement, but a recent movie that the Jim Henson company produced, called MirrorMask, had a pretty shallow plot but was very good just to watch. I love Alice-in-Wonderland type movies that create such visually unique worlds. Hmm, what else. I saw a movie called "Smoke Signals" which wasn't bad. Oh, and it was fairly recently that I first saw "The Princess Bride," that movie is a lot better than I expected.

First time watching the movie...Pretty cool action flick; Sucks about Brandon Lee's real-life death, though...You can definitly make out the stand-in during the roof scene by the actor's voice...
