Changing max listeners on the fly

Hello,
Is there anyway to change the max listeners cap on the fly without restarting the server?

Linux
When I change the liste ner count in the config file it says [SIGWINCH] Config file reloaded (or something)
but it doesn't seem to reflect the new numbers on the web page.

Well, that would have been my guess too to send the WINCH signal to the server process (kill -WINCH pid). If this does not update the maximum listener count, then I suppose you cannot do it without restarting the server.
