Two equalizer window bug
Hi forum,
I have a little problem with Winamp since yesterday. I have been using Winamp 5.01 on my PC until yesterday when I upgraded to 5.65 yesterday (the latest version). After installing I chose the Winamp Modern skin, and when Winamp opened up, two equalizer windows came up. The Winamp Modern one and the Winamp Classic one. You can see it below: ![]() When I click on the close button on the Classic one, it refuses to close. I tried closing and everything but it is still there. Cheers |

can you send a copy of your winamp.ini file (should be in %appdata%\Winamp when entered in Windows Explorer) to dro [at] winamp {dot} com and will see what i can be determined as the cause as we fixed a similar issue in v5.64.
also once you've sent the winamp.ini file, if you switch to Winamp Classic, close the classic EQ window and then go back to the modern skin you're using, it shouldn't re-appear (though the winamp.ini should help to determine why it's incorrectly appearing anyway). |

Download and use Koopa's Winamp Info Tool (link below) to make an extended report of your Winamp configuration. It will list where your winamp.ini file is and a whole lot more.

the folder can be hidden by the OS in some cases but entering what I put in my prior post into the address bar in Windows Explorer should show the contents so you can then get to the files. unless you've changed the default settings folder for Winamp and then an info report is needed to confirm what the settings folder path is.
