Looking to do time-based operations
Hello Folks,
I'm looking to do a plugin that needs the song's current playtime position, just any number at all as an indicator. Can the SDK do this? Thanks Edit: ideally a unit of time that's at least 1/100th of a second, or can calculate down to it |

I couldn't edit my old message, so I would like to clarify: I want to do this in C++

IPC_GETOUTPUTTIME (from wa_ipc.h) is the most appropriate api to look at and it can work in milliseconds but it depends a lot on the input plug-in / file type being played as to how accurate that is going to be.

That will do nicely. It looks like I'll have to poll it.
