hey, this script looks like it's just the thing I'm looking for, thanks. Unfortunatly I don't have much experience in this area, heres my situation. I have a webpage that I would like info from this script to appear on. How do I go about inserting this 'object?' or script into an existing page. thanks -geej

Hi,
you have almost to copy and paste it into your website or just include it. You should just do some Xperiments with the code. Best thing to do is just try and may cut out the stuff you don't need. For ASP starters i suggest these Sites: http://www.aspin.com http://www.asp101.com For XML checkout: http://www.w3schools.com/xml/ Hope this could help you a bit...cu |

also change line 81
line 81 should read....
<a href="http://<%=request.ServerVariables("SERVER_NAME")%>:<%=shoutcast_port%>/listen.pls"><img src="tunein.gif" border=0></a> this way the listen link will show the right port based on the configuration on top.... still cant get the times to show, only getting 12 AM like i described earlier. |

You're right. But this script isn't a final version. it's just a sample how to get info from shoutcast to your asp website... all people are free to use it as they want.
i will include your suggestions in my next version. thanks |

Okay the 12 AM thing i think is because of regional setting of your windows. mine is GTM +01:00 Germany. Also German 24h TimeFormat.
Wrong? You mean the WebSite. It's because my Shoutcast Server was Offline.. currently turned on for some time.. but don't keep it up very long... > bandwidth issues. |
