Bitmap fonts and Gammagroups

I have the following code in the wasabi.statusbar group:
<text id="wasabi.statusbar.text" x="6" y="1" w="-12" relatw="1" h="-1" relath="1" font="studio.component.statusbar" />

The font in question is defined with the following code:
<bitmapfont id="studio.component.statusbar" file="system/fonts/default-font.png" charwidth="5" charheight="6" hspacing="0" vspacing="0" gammagroup="Display Fonts"/>

The gammagroup code is:
<gammagroup id="Display Fonts" value="-550,0,1980" boost="1"/>

However the group does not have any effect on the color of the text. I am perplexed. I tried it with and without the boost (which I do not know the perpose of), but to no avail.

Any tips on this one?

Also while on the font topic, the media lib. result text color id no longer seems to work (it use to be: library.list.results.text, but that seems to have no effect).

Lastly does anyone know the color id or whatever that controls the selected item background color on popup menus?

Hey drwho,
I can help you out with that last one as I just tackled it myself not too long ago. The selected item background on popup menus is controlled by a graphic, namely selbar.png. You can create you own image and redefine the elements by modifying these lines of code:
code:
<bitmap id="studio.popup.selection.left" file="menu/selbar.png" x="0" y="0" w="5" h="10" gammagroup="Menus"/>
<bitmap id="studio.popup.selection.right" file="menu/selbar.png" x="6" y="0" w="5" h="10" gammagroup="Menus"/>
<bitmap id="studio.popup.selection.center" file="menu/selbar.png" x="27" y="0" w="20" h="10" gammagroup="Menus"/>

Hopefully someone else will come through with the answer to the rest of those questions as I and a few others have been wondering about them too.

Fixed the media lib thing I just missed the color id. The gammagroup with bitmap font question stands though.

How did you change the media lib results? Mine keep showing up green no matter what I try.
Thanks in advance,

They may have added it in a more recent build but I redid most of my system colors the tag is:
<color id="pledit.text.readonly" value="50,63,110"/>

Think you can put it in any elements set, but mine is in system-colors.xml's.

Thanks, that was it. I have all my other pledit parts colored from an earlier release of WA3. I never would have thought to look in pledit for the media library text, those sneaky bastards were trying to hide it, haha.
Now if someone can figure out how to change the other text we'll be set. I know ThePlague asked about it not too long ago but I'm pretty sure it sunk to page two already and no one answered. Either no one knows or whoever does is keeping it secret.
Thanks again,

If you look though the WAC directory you'll see that the results section of the media lib is a hacked version of the pl component. That is the reason for it being called playlist I guess. I too wait for my Bitmap font answer. WA3 Final is out so I wonder if it is a standing bug or if we just don't know what we are doing.
