House has six Google Chromecast Audio devices, any way to connect them to Winamp?

Does Winamp 6 Beta currently support Chromecast connections and if so, is it possible to sign up as a Beta tester?

Over the years I've spent many hours reading posts about how some people were able to stream their music from Winamp to Chromecast, but I could never figure it out...

Every time I fire up VLC Media Player, with that stupid orange-white cone just to cast music, I cringe wishing I could use Winamp instead to play music over six Google Chromecast Audio devices in the house.

Winamp 6 is currently vaporware and won't be anything like winamp now.

I don't understand.
They fully acknowledge that VLC can do it in Windows... why can't Winamp do exact same thing? What is the nature of the problem that makes it okay for VLC to stream to chromecast devices but Winamp cannot?

Because vlc has some sort of hack to be able to do it, winamp doesn't, and given that winamp 6 is essentially non-existent and probably will never exist, then there's no chance for that feature unless someone makes a plug-in or something for it.

There is no winamp 6 and it's not likely it's ever gone be released.

The last official version is 5.666 and
the 5.8 is a leaked Beta version.

I hope to come back here once a year just to see if anything changes, this has always been a very helpful forum.

Are there other Windows media players which have 'hacked' their way into Chromecast?
and
Is Milkdrop unique to Winamp, are there any other media players that use Milkdrop like Winamp does?

Check out Kodi (https://kodi.tv).

I don't know if it supports Chromecast, but it does contain a version of Milkdrop and several presets.
