No subtitles with AVI, mkv works fine
I have Combined-Community-Codec-Pack-2011-11-11 and Winamp v5.623 and i cant get subtitles to load on avi files!?!
mkv subs load just fine with directvobsub but it wont even load with avi´s I have tried many things, for example forcing load in haali. I´m desperate for help since i have wrapped my head around this problem for 4 hours today with many reinstalls and other codecpacks I hope someone out there have a solution for me |

Hi
You will need to disable/remove in_avi.dll (Winamp\Plugins folder) to make sure Winamp uses in_dshow.dll for AVI instead. After removing in_avi.dll, reopen Winamp and make sure AVI is in the Extension List in: Prefs > Plugins > Input > in_dshow > config. If the problem persists, we will need more info (List of Plugins, dxdiag log, etc) http://forums.winamp.com/showthread.php?t=161361#video |
