Winamp Pro 5.601 will not play FLV videos

Title says it all, really. Winamp Pro will not play FLV files. Why?

Winamp doesn't complain when I try to open the video file. But it gets no index marker in the time slider, and clicking play does nothing.

How can I get this fixed?

FLV is just a container, which can contain several different codecs, like h264 or h263 for example. Winamp cannot play FLV files, which have a h263 stream (can mostly found on YouTube etc) For these files you must install the additional FLV codec, which is part of the Essentials Pack.

If the files still won't play, you should analyze it with GSpot and additionally you should post a list of your installed plugins here.
