Select song in jump to file, then go backwards.

My question is simple, but kinda hard to describe.

I want to know if there's any way, I can go back to a song I selected with jump to file?

I'll give an example. I use global hotkeys to change song and so on, while I'm playing games, so lets say I use jump to file and select song1, then when it's over, I realize I wanna listen to it again, but if I just press previous track, it will select a different song.

So, is there any way to change it, so it goes back to the song I selected in jump to file?

firstly, please don't cross-post the same question in multiple threads like http://forums.winamp.com/showthread.php?t=337021

as for the question, it's been on my todo list for the jump to file feature for years but i've just never got it working correctly, etc. either way it's known about but there's not anything which can be done without me pulling my finger out and sorting out a working solution.

I wonder how can it beee that you go back to a different track than the one you had before. is it shufflin? switch it off and try again.

Winamp uses a shuffled list of what is in the playlist editor, so you can go backwards (i think you're getting confused with what would be a random mode - which Winamp doesn't do).

also i don't think you're quite getting what MSkriver is asking about since if it normally remembers what you've played when going forward and back, if the 'q' action has been used, then that should be taken into account when going back so it's consistent (and is something that i've had on my todo list / attempted as part of the JTFE plug-in since 2004).

anyway, to work properly it really needs a change to be made in Winamp instead of my trying to hack it in via the plug-in - one day i hope to get something done to resolve this but since the JTFE plug-in is done for free in my own time, it slips down the list of things to be worked on when i do have coding time (unless it's a nasty issue causing Winamp support issues).
