Tracker commands are not being read..(.mod)

Hi.

Ive got some modules from the amiga days, (noisetracker/protracker x.x versions) that are not being playbacked like they should be. In later versions of these trackers new commands were being used. I can send u some modules that reproduce bad sound and/or speed etc. I love winamp and wish to use no other player for music so its gonna be lovely when this can be fixed. Looking out for your reply.

Sincerely,

M.

MOD support in winamp is based on very old code. There was intention to upgrade to the latest libmikmod, but it seems that it would be pretty much an entire rewrite due to the number of changes made since the initial plugin was written.

To that end, updates are currently on the back burner.

just after they develop the ability for 72hr days when you've essentially got one person doing all of the work, it's never going to be done as fast as people want. just have a bit of patience and i'm sure something will be done about it eventually
