Not a good start to 5.5

The first time 5.5 started, it showed a playlist that included a CD no longer in the drive and when I clicked one of the missing songs it promptly hung and I had to CTRL-ALT-DEL to get my machine back.

That's impressive basic error handling - how long have the devs been at it now?

winamp would have to wait for windows to tell it that their was no disk in the drive. so you'd have to wait for each request to timeout. winamp would then skip the track.

Appreciated - but we're talking a near-total machine lock-up: no other apps could be focused, start button frozen, CTRL-ALT-DEL brought up task manager after about 20 seconds.
