Bitrate limiting??

How can I limit de Bitrate to 128k?? with the server
so the DJ can't set the Bitrate over 128k when his shout..

there is support for this coming in the next public build of the v2 DNAS via 'maxbitrate' and 'streammaxbitrate' options. note: there is no eta for when a new release will be made other than "when it's done".

Can't you just set sc_trans to encode at whatever bitrate you want, regardless of what the DJ sends?

what about in cases where there isn't a transcoder in place? as people do just manually connect at different times without anything acting in the middle to control things. also from a hosting view point, a hard limit in the DNAS itself is useful if people are attempting to go over the bitrate they are allowed to use.
