WinAmp IS surely Dead

I'd be surprised if ANYONE really thinks WinAmp will ever come back as a viable product again.
But it's nice to know there is still a dedicated community out there.
I've been using WinAmp since it first came out and I still think it is a very good program, it's just a pity no-one had the foresight to pick it up and carry on with it's development.

All we had was this year, next year, sometime, never.

yeah okay... and the point of creating a new thread that states the same thing 3,289,743,284 other threads say is...?

There is a dedicated community towards development thanks to DrO if you haven't seen it https://getwacup.com/

Never say never. Motorola came back, Nokia came back. Why WinAmp can't come back? It has a lot of fans so there is still a great potential in it.

It's dead? When did Winamp stop being able to play music, videos and music streams? Still beats anything out there.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
