Vortex skin fix
Zsigri Gyula started the discussion on the Winamp Enthusiasts
Amazing skin Vortex seems to be throwing a really big error (crashing Winamp on start or playback). managed to track down the error but can't fix it so far: On player_normal.xml, this script is called: code: The script is throwing some timer error on line 185: So, it's the "pulseback" light what's interferring when starting playback or even the skin sometimes. Anyone up for the challenge to fix it? |

Commenting out the draw_r.maki script in player-normal.xml fixes the crash at the price of losing backlight visualization.
PHP Code:

Yeah I know, but that's not a proper fix.. I think it can be relatively easy to solve if I could just find how to disable the chained calls to the timer (that line 185 in draw_r.m, which seems to contain the issue, like DrO suggested)..
PS/EDIT: Plus, having the backlight constantly on may be annoying for some users.. |
