Mac version and Plugins?

I've recommended to an online friend that she try Winamp for Mac. Will the Mac version use the plugins as the PC version does? Thanks.

nope. it's a completely different code base and what is on the PC version cannot be used by the Mac version (even if it had a plug-in system).
