This design looks fresher than the previous one, but in my eyes it aims too hard to minimalism, I don't know how much good it can do to Winamp. I like the colors and the Social implementation might be interesting, but not much if it's too intrusive (like on this design).

I like it, but just make sure we can still use classic/modern/classicPro skins! I use WA for some live show stuff, and the WinMetro is kinda obtrusive for that purpose!

Aside from that, maybe we can have Last.FM integrated, at least for artist info... [I'd settle for a plugin that does this! LOL!]

...dislike and i mean a really big DISLIKE.

If i don't have the chance in Winamp 6 to disable this totally overloaded design then i would never do a update to this version. I don't need a blown up metro-app-design because i'm using winamp since many years as a simple player but this design would make it not more usable. For a mobile device okay but never for the desktop. The desktop version should have a option to use the classic/modern/classicPro skins. This social bullshit (sorry) makes no sense for me in a desktop player like winamp.

I really don't like it either. Just update the player and let us chose how we want it to look please. It kind of reminds me of the old Zune layout.

Luckily this is just a concept and Winamp won't look like this.. at least not in the foreseeable future!

I don't see why people would get upset? the skin is just a choice... I'm sure the old skins people are used to will still be around (perhaps with some minor tweaking to accommodate new under the hood code)
