Winamp 5 Final Installation Question

When the final is released, whenever that may be, should I uninstal the version that I have now (rc8) or will it be ok to just instal the final version over it?

I'm gonna do a fresh installation, marking the official beginnings of a new and improved player

However installing over it will be just the same really

I normally don't uninstall programs and do clean installations of the new, since as far as I'm concerned, ya shouldn't have to, and I've never run into any probs anyways.
But I too may do a clean install of Winamp 5 final, just to do as you put it...
"marking the official beginnings of a new and improved player".
That just sounds cool, lol.

I'll do a clean installation, but I'm moving all of my media library settings and data over.

You can install it over previous releases. It was only Winamp3 that needed fresh installs each time.

But if you post bugs and don't have a fresh install, we will ignore them

So fresh install if you plan to supply bug reports.

LOL!! When the Final Release hits the entire site will have changed. That's the only true way to know. For all we know, the web gurus at Nullsoft might have hit bumps in the road when designing the new layout. Could have also gave the Programmers time to tweak the WA5 code while they wait.
