How to stop the shuffling of playlist?

I actually stopped using winamp for a couple of years because it was impossible to put an end to the extremely annoying shuffle bonanza the program brings.

Here's the thing: I don't use playlists. Spending time making and updating these lists seems like total waste to me. After I have downloaded music I sort them on my HDD and when I want to listen I open the harddrive and click on the songs. That way everything is in order and easy to find and easy to manage.

But if I want to listen to an album, of course I mark all the songs and either chose "add to winamp playlist" or "play using winamp" (or VLC because winamp seems to have lost support for lossless these days). Whatever I do Winamp just keeps scrambling the order of the songs. I don't want them sorted alphabetically, randomixed or whatever. I want the album played like intended, nothing more, nothing less. As they are sorted in my folder.

I can imagine some folks like their media player to shuffle around when playing but who actually likes the program to mix up the order when creating the playlist?
Sorry for the sour tone. I'm all wired up about this again. Any help appreciated!

Best regards,
Björn
