Option to change multiple artists delimiter
For example; choosing the delimiter being an ampersand. It now shows as: Artist/Artist , when there are multiple artists. I would like to change that to Artist & Artist.
It's probably not that hard to feature such an option, but it would be really helpful to some people who would like to change that for certain internet sites like last.fm or musicbrainz. |

You've already made this request in the 'Bugs' sub-forum.
How does the scrobbler you're referring to work? Which metadata tag(s) does it use? How are you entering multiple artists in Winamp now (which tag or tags)? You can already use whatever character you want in the metadata string (e.g. A & B & C or A, B, C or A/B/C). Winamp has 2 tag editors. One (File Info) is for making changes to the tags in individual files. A subsequent rescan of these files will transfer the changes to the files' media library records. The other editor (Edit Item Metadata) allows making metadata changes to a file's media library record only (to associate metadata with files whose formats do not support tagging), or to the library record and the file at the same time (for file formats that support tagging). This editor also lets you make the same change(s) to a group of selected files' library records (or to the library records and files in the group that support tagging) at the same time. If you're using a 3rd party plug-in, you need to contact the plug-in's developer. Windows 10 Home 64-bit v21H2 desktop - Logitech Z906 5.1 speaker system |
