help me

Here is my problem. I have four playlists: my sister's, my fast songs for workouts, my slow songs, and my main list. The latter will rarely show up on my screen. If I try to load it, the computer says "not responding". I have friends with many more songs on their playlists and theirs are fine. I have no idea what is wrong with it and it is driving me insane. Help!!!
