WMA movies cut out three seconds before the end

I did search and found a person who had the exact problem but he didn't get an answer...he was rather impatient.
I use Windows Movie Maker to make 2 or 3 minute movies. I save them as a Windows Media file and play them back on WINAMP. Three seconds before the end of the movie, the video stops but the audio continues.

I'm not good on specs but here goes:
Machine: HP Pavilion a752n
1GB RAM
570 Intel Pentium 4 Processor
ATI Radeon x300 SE PCI-E graphics card, 128mb DD R video memory

If these aren't the correct specs, can someone respond how I can get them.
Any help is really apreciated. I'd really like to use WINAMPfor all my media and this is driving me batty.

Ken.

Maybe try turning off crossfading:
Prefs (Ctrl+P) > Output > double-click DirectSound output > tab Fading

Also turn off this option:
Prefs (Ctrl+P) > Output > double-click DirectSound output > tab Other > 'Remove silence at the beginning / end of track'

Do the files play correctly in other media players, eg. Windows Media Player?

Good Winamp plugins by Joonas, DrO and shaneh.
If you're bored go here or, if the boredom is more serious, here.

Yes, in Windows Media Player without incident to be exact. I'll try what you suggest.

Thnx
