nevermind, I fixed this by changing icon size and screen resolution in my display preferences. thanks for all your help

The blue tinted icon is the 24bit version that was added in Winamp 5, it actually fits in better with Windows XP's default icons.
You can simply extract the 4 and 8bit versions from winamp.exe with a program like icon sushi (actually I just did that, see attachment), changing the 23bit versions isn't that diffucult either though: save them as pngs, open in Photoshop or the Gimp, select everything except the Winamp icon (using select by colour) and decolourize the selected part, then load the pngs in icon sushi and save them as icon. |
