you need to be running the (in winamp)shoutcast source dsp & dnas server to show up on the SC page

i don't think you can get there from here
no way to be listed unless you are serving up a stream. your only choice is to do a on demand play list i think. with a link from your website...or just post it there LCR1610AM & KWPA 103.1 FM Radio Tech on ShoutCast search for (Local Radio & Music) http://ww2.whidbey.net/lcr1610am Most computer errors happen between the keyboard & the chair! |

to the best of my knowlage there is no way to list your podcast on the sc site without streaming and using the dnas server & dsp plugin...anyone else want to confirm??

i think the podcast directory is different from sc, i mean in winamp's media browser there is online services where is sc audio, video.. and there is another entry independent from the above where it says "podcast directory", where you can search for podcasts: thats where i want to get to.

LCR16, he's not talking about actual SHOUTcast, he is talking about the podcast system that is run through the Media Library in WINAMP. SHOUTcast Wire and actual SHOUTcast are two different things, he's not streaming audio, he has a podcast show and wants it to show in the Wire directory.
As for this question, I have yet to come across a straight answer to it myself, any help with this would be appreciated as it would be nice to have another way to listen to my station and the RSS podcasts |

scts->wats
I just realised the epic fail that is calling podcast support shoutcast wire. Yeah, it has nothing to do with shoutcast at all. I don't recall where the feed is sourced from at the moment, but maybe someone in the correct forum will. |

Yeah, one of the reasons why it's not even called Shoutcast Wire any more,
ie. it was renamed to Podcast Directory in 5.5 The Podcast Directory takes its listings from www.ipodder.org so you'll need to submit your podcast feed there. |

http://www.digitalpodcast.com is now the source :-)
So you'll need to add your podcast there. I'm not sure how often we refresh it clientside though, but apparently we'll be doing another import soon-ish. [Edit] The last refresh was in early September, so it looks like we refresh every 3 months. |
