Winamp is not responding (crashes) when I am trying to play an Audio CD
Hello, to the Llama community!
I am using Winamp 5.8 with some plugins, and I have a problem. I popped an Audio CD, in my PC (Windows 10) and when I try to play the disc, winamp doesn't respond. ![]() But the funny thing is that I can't close the window even I kill it from task manager. I have to log out and login again, to fix it. ![]() ![]() I tried disabling every CD plug in and it happened again. How can I fix it? Should I go to 5.666? I hope the next version of Winamp will fix it. ![]() |

My guess is there's a plug-in conflict. You might want to try it again with a clean install (no 3rd party plugins) and if that doesn't work, then try 5.666 (5.8 is beta anyway)
Do you have the issue if you use a different program to play the audio cd? Also, don't expect any next version of winamp given it's vaporware. Might want to give wacup a try (┛◉Д◉)┛彡ʎɯouoıpɐɹ Current status of Winamp: (Winamp 5.8) is not an ongoing project ![]() 5.8 beta issue quick fix - Install 5.666 (there's no further 5.8 releases) |

No it doesn't. I rolled back to 5.666 and... It is worst, but it plays CDs. I Will tell more about it, tommorow.
