Can't view log files on admin.cgi pages

We have two streams and can log in to both on the DNAS summary pages as admin but when I try to view the logfile or tail logfile therein, I get a message saying:

"Viewing Not Allowed With Current Permissions"

I searched the forums for a solution but the only thread I saw about it, Daz replied to the poster saying that this message appears when using different admin passwords/stream adminpasswords_X.

I need a little clarification on this.

Our adminpassword/streamadminpassword_Xs are all the same. Should they be different?

Or maybe I shouldn't be using streamadminpasswords at all since we're not hosting anything but our own streams?

Thanks in advance.

a streamadminpassword being present (even if it is the same as adminpassword which is silly to do anyway) will cause that message to appear. if you're having adminpassword and streamadminpassword the same anyway then just have adminpassword and leave it at that.

Makes sense now. Thanks for the clarification.
