Easy method to scroll texture one direction?

Hi! I am realitively new to Milkdrop, and have read all the manuals. Can anyone tell me a simple way to scroll a texture background (512x512) in one direction only? I am using

ret = tex2D(sampler_Scope5, (uv*texsize.xy+frame)*texsize_Scope5.zw).xyz;

in the Comp shader. It advances on both the x and y coordinates. I have yet to figure out how to scroll along the y coordinate only. I appreciate any help, and please forgive me if this question seems superflous or has been answered elsewhere and I failed to see it.

Thanks,
Army

Hi Army

Simply use ret = tex2D(sampler_Scope5, (uv*texsize.xy+frame*float2(0,1))*texsize_Scope5.zw).xyz;

Hi Nitorami! Oh gosh! It seems so obvious now that you showed me. You have no idea how many permutations I tried, with no success. Thank you so much!
Gratefully,
Army
