Streaming .ram files in winamp

I have searched, I found an old thread about playing real audio files in winamp with real alternative and tara's plugin, however, I still cannot stream .ram files.

I have winamp 5.35 pro, win xp home. I am trying to stream bbc1. It will work when just clicking on "listen live", but if I try to listen using a stand alone real player - forcing it to open with winamp, winamp opens loads the file, looks like it is playing (counting the time, etc), but no sound is there.

Thanks for any help.

You will need to switch off 'Process audio through Winamp' in the tara plugin config.

Prefs > Input plugins > in_tara.dll > Config.
