Panasonic TV App - Screensaver?

Recently started using SHOUTcast on our Panasonic TX 49FX700B and loving it.

Not sure what the deal with burn in on TVs these days but as it's fairly new and cost a few bob i'm slightly paranoid about leaving it on a still image for long periods.

Would be ace if a simple screensaver mode could be invoked with one of the coloured buttons on the remote. Nowt fancy, maybe even just blackout with a logo and tooltip for which button to press to go that randomly moves about.

Be interested to hear what other smart TV users think about this idea.

Nope, we just leave it here
having a screensaver in winamp isn't shoutcast related in anyway.

Btw , chances are that you get your screensaver are less than 1% , sorry

smart tv that has internet access
you can access anything you like, most of them come with apps like youtube already installed.

Yes, SHOUTcast came as a pre-installed app, ported to what I suspect is a proprietary framework Panasonic TVs use - pretty certain it isn't android at least.

Actually, their SDK is for HTML5. Makes sense. https://developer.vieraconnect.com/

Interesting. I have a laptop on my TV, I use that, but I should check to see if it has a similar app. My guess is u won't see any updates to the app, but I hope I'm wrong. A screensaver / visualizer would be sweet.

I think my TV does have a function to turn the screen off while the audio continues, maybe urs does too?

Thanks for the reply - seems this TV has a setting to turn off screen too, so that's what I'll be doing. It's a lil bit clunky accessing so would still be sweet to see it native to the app, first world problems etc haha!
