Slow streaming

Im running a server from one pc and playing the music from another pc...im using a router and i can stream music fine except that when i listen to my radio station its slow. I open it with itunes and real one player....it plays for a couple of seconds and then says "buffering" and takes long to start playing again and then its starts buffering again...how can i make my streaming faster ??

drop the bitrate might help..also you can never get rid of buffer..its a fact of life

is there an intro on the stream ??

if so make sure the intro matches the bitrate of the stream or it will cause errors,,
