Enqueue hotkey replaces Playlist

this has been happening since the previews version (5.33 i think) and it hasn't been fixed yet (this time using winamp 5.5).

problem with the enqueue hotkey (Shift+Enter):

just to try to make things clear-er:
playlist = playlist from media library
active playlist = songs in the Playlist editor (that are currently playing)

when i try to enqueue a playlist from my media library using the hotkey, it reproduces the playlist instead of enqueue it to the active playlist.

then let's say i want to enqueue many playlists from my media library, so i use the Up and Down arrow keys to select other playlists, but when i try to enqueue a playlist (using the hotkey), instead of enqueue it to the active playlist (or instead of reproduce it like i said before), either nothing happens or it replays the last playlist i enqueued.

sorry if it sounds confusing.

What is your "Double click or Enter in Library" setting in:
Winamp > Prefs > Media Library > Library Options?

If set to "Plays selected items", then Enter = Play, Shift+Enter = Enqueue.

If set to "Enqueues selected items", then Enter = Enqueue, Shift+Enter = Play.

Alas, the menus are static, not dynamic.

it's the default setting, that is: Plays selected item(s).
besides when you right click a playlist it says "Enqueue - Shift+Enter" so it should work, but it doesn't.

Hmm, actually, it seems as though the issue I referenced in my first reply has been addressed, ie. Shift+Enter now works as Enqueue no matter what that setting is.

Alas, I can't reproduce the problem.

Shift+Enter = Enqueue here for me, amd works always without fail.

Okay, I've reproduced it now.

Yes, it's borked.

I had "Enqueues selected items" selected for that option,
and Shift+Enter works fine as 'Enqueue'.

But when I change it to "Plays selected items" then Shift+Enter = Play
and yeah, Enter seems to do nothing at all.

Oops.

Copying this over to the internal bugtracker.

For now, I suggest that you just use the right-click menu instead.

I recently had a quite a bit of trouble when using the SHIFT+ENTER hotkey, mapped to the middle mouse button, it would randomly play the ML selection instead of enqueueing it.

I've found that disabling skinned context menus in 'Preferences > Media Library > Appearance Tab' fixes this issue. It also fixes a problem where the right-click menu will only show after several presses of the right mouse button.
