Spdif input/5.1 output using WinampAc3?

Hi, can anyone inform me as to how to configure winampac3?

Basicly this will be my setup....

Ps3 and V+Hd box into tv via HDMI.
TV into PC Via Optical SPDIF.
PC to 5.1 Speakers via analoug out.

Ive installed winamp and the ac3 plug in on my lappy to check it out but im a but confused.

Any help would be well appreciated,

First you need to make sure you have the actual PC setup to output via SPDIF correctly. Different instructions for different OS's and sound cards, so need to be more specific on your setup first.
