I can't get the in_aif plugin to work.

I have upgraded to 2.78 and I can't get .aif files to play. They worked on my old winamp and yes I have installed the plugin.

Thanx but I did that. Now I get a "Compressed AFIC files other than 4-bit IMA ADPCM are not supported". That can't be right as I was playing them before the upgrade.

Ahh new problem. How can I get winamp to stop resetting the settings every time I start it up? I unassociated the formats and all was well untill I closed winamp and tryed to play the file and no joy, winamp had reasscociated them. Is that normal?
