The highest number of listeners on at one time since your server's been running.

Confused though... Lets say the peak listeners are 250 on a certain date and time.. Why would the graph right below it only show 8?

Taken from my privat testing server:

Stream Status: Stream is up at 192 kbps with 2 of 10 listeners (2 unique)
Listener Peak: 2

...with 2 .. = the number of connections (listener) to your streamserver
...of 10 ... = the max number of possible connections(listener)
(2 unique) = the number of connections (listener) from a unique ip
So imagine i would listen to the station with my Notebook and my PC using a shared conection over an Router Then it would show someting like this

Stream Status: Stream is up at 192 kbps with 3 of 10 listeners (2 unique) waht means 3 connections (listener) but only from 2 unique ips.

Hope that helps.

Here is what Im asking -

Listener Minutes 7-day trend -27.26% Down
14-day trend 49.82% Up
30-day trend -6.87% Down
Total (1-day) 1149 minute(s)
Total listening hours (TLH) 19.15
Average session length 41.0 minute(s)
Listeners Total sessions (1-day) 28 session(s)
Unique listeners 27 listener(s)
Unique countries 14 countries

Metric Value
Data Transfer Total (1-day) 1063.7 MB
Session average 38.0 MB
Tracks Total (1-day) 287 track(s)
Total unique (1-day) 212 track(s)
Average per hour 6.11 track(s)
Average length 5 mins, 16 secs
Peak Period Listeners 25 listener(s)
Track Unknown -
Date Mar 26, 2012 05:00 PM

I understand most of the above - Bottom line - why would it say this -

Peak Period Listeners 25 listener(s)
Track Unknown
Date Mar 26, 2012 05:00 PM

But at the 5:00 hour it says this -

1
* Listeners
Online
* Server Status
Online
* Source Status
Yes

DNAS has no graph -how 3rd party programs fudge interpret DNAS data is irrelevant to DNAS

also, with your last post I see a peak of 25 with 27 unique listeners in that list of "statistics" from some unknown source (not DNAS)

interpreting as best I can the "reports" you posted ... 27 unique listeners over a period of 7 days does not mean they all listened SIMULTANEOUSLY

DNAS peak = peak (non-unique I believe) at any one moment since the DNAS started

as for interpreting what your external "statistics" program is telling you, best ask it's creator what the figures REALLY mean

"If you don't like DNAS, write your own damn system"

So I did
