What Does Listener Peak Mean?

Confused though... Lets say the peak listeners are 250 on a certain date and time.. Why would the graph right below it only show 8?

Taken from my privat testing server:

Stream Status: Stream is up at 192 kbps with 2 of 10 listeners (2 unique)
Listener Peak: 2

...with 2 .. = the number of connections (listener) to your streamserver
...of 10 ... = the max number of possible connections(listener)
(2 unique) = the number of connections (listener) from a unique ip
So imagine i would listen to the station with my Notebook and my PC using a shared conection over an Router Then it would show someting like this

Stream Status: Stream is up at 192 kbps with 3 of 10 listeners (2 unique) waht means 3 connections (listener) but only from 2 unique ips.

I understand most of the above - Bottom line - why would it say this -

But at the 5:00 hour it says this -

DNAS has no graph -how 3rd party programs fudge interpret DNAS data is irrelevant to DNAS

also, with your last post I see a peak of 25 with 27 unique listeners in that list of "statistics" from some unknown source (not DNAS)

interpreting as best I can the "reports" you posted ... 27 unique listeners over a period of 7 days does not mean they all listened SIMULTANEOUSLY

DNAS peak = peak (non-unique I believe) at any one moment since the DNAS started

as for interpreting what your external "statistics" program is telling you, best ask it's creator what the figures REALLY mean
