Failure to connect to yp.shoutcast.com

Have read the guides & suprised i even managed to connect the server up.

This issue happens when I try and get my authhash number, as well as this, before this error occurs shoutcast administrator panel fails to see my genre, location and the such. however when this error pops up they are all added.

I have yet to receive an authhash.

try http://forums.winamp.com/showthread....331394#dnsfail to see if that will help with the access not working (or make sure that yp.shoutcast.com hasn't been blocked in any firewalls on the machine / network being used).

the page won't see / show all of the values unless they can be directly matched or processed appropriately i.e. you're just using genres from http://forums.winamp.com/showthread.php?t=303241. and the page will only attempt to get the details from the source connected, if that isn't providing good data then it can fail to show it and so requires manually entering the values.

also choosing a genre with an & in it will cause a failure with the build of the DNAS you're using.
