Nostradamus predicts antiseptic surgery!

Remember that famous quatrain from Nostradamus that have been interpreted as predicting Hitler's rise?

Bestes farouches de faim fleuves tranner
Plus part du champ encore Hister sera
En caige de fer le grand sera traisner
Quand rien enfant de Germain observa

Beasts wild with hunger will cross the rivers,
The greater part of the battle will be against Hister.
He will cause great men to be dragged in a cage of iron,
When the son of Germain observes nothing.

People such as Erika Cheetham would like you to believe that "Hister" means "Hitler", and "Germain" refers to "Germany". That's where the error lies.

But now I reveal this to you:

"Beast wild with hunger will cross the river": This means bacteria running wild in the human body
"Hister" was actually a misspelled "Lister". Joseph Lister, as you all know, is the first person to actually apply Louis Pasteur's germ theory of disease and use antiseptics in surgery, thus fighting a great battle against bacteria.
"He will cause great mean to be dragged in a cage of iron": Lister's use of antiseptic was a huge success.
"Where the son of Germain observes nothing": This is the tricky part. Cheetham wants you to believe Germain = Germany. Not so! Back in Nostradamus' time, "Germain" refers to the present-day northeastern France, and part of Belgium and the Netherlands. And guess what -- Louis Pasteur was born in Dole, in the northeastern region of Jura in France. So this verse is actually saying that while Pasteur observed nothing extraordinary with his germ theory, Lister was able to take his theory and actually apply it practically!

Nostradamus' quatrains are cryptic and elusive, and should only be interpreted by the right people in the right frame of mind with the right bias. Don't believe Cheetham! Follow my Way!

None whatsoever.

Nostradamus' quatrains are so vague that you can take a stanza, twist it a bit here and there, and make it fit multiple historical events with little effort. The resulting "prophecy" is whatever the interpreter wants to read into the quatrains.

The same problem plagues Michael Drosnin's claim that there are hidden messages in the Bible.

Nobody seems to get the point though.

If anyone can find any of the skins I made please email them to Forevever@aol.com I can't remember all the names but specifically hunting for Lascivious, and DEVOUR (compilation with Jax) and any in the Impulse series which had 6 total. Auriferous, Gilt, Impulse, Nadir, and 2 others I can't remember but you dig.
