Shoutcast & playlists in the content directory

I have shoutcast set up and running on a linux machine. I can live stream and put mp3 files in the content directory to stream on demand.

However, I was wondering if there was a way that I could place a playlist file in the content directory to play a series of mp3s off the the server while I'm not broadcasting from my remote machine? The stream on demand method is great but It only plays one mp3 file.

I've tried using playlists in pls and m3u format but it gives an "invalid resource" error.

I would really appreciate any help that anyone can give.

Thanks
