winamp crashes when connected to the internet

A while ago winamp started to crash when I wanted to play music or videos. I uninstalled winamp and removed all traces of winamp and reinstalled winamp 5 but I still have the same problems. today I forgot to turn on the modem of the internet and started winamp... problem gone. But when I start another song or video while connected to the internet winamp crashes again.


So winamp crashes only when I start a new song while connected to the internet. (there's no problem if I start a song and connect internet afterwards)

I'm using vista ultimate 64bit with the latest updates.

can anyone help me?
