Cannot Import/Play WMA files.
I just installed windows 7 on my laptop and completed all the updates and driver installs. So now I am reinstalling all my software. I have installed Winamp 5.61 (Full). During the setup process it listed the audio file type associations, but the only options were (MP3, MP2, Mp1, AAC, VLB, M3U, M3U8, PLS, and B4S). There was no option for WMA. After installation I get the same result in preferences/file types. No WMA. Website says it supports this format and many more, but they are not available to me for some reason. On my other pc I am running same version on winamp on Windows XP and it plays and imports WMA's with no problems. What the heck am I doing wrong?? I've tried searching the forums and google for answers but cant seem to find anything useful. Please help!

Sounds like you need to do some setting up when you install.
Run the installer again, when you get to the 'Choose Components' page : Expand the Multimedia Engine section > Expand the Audio Playback section > set the formats you want. UJ |
