Hello

My name is Loïc I'm french and I'm new on this forum

I've created a conf file with the setup file that was a sucess but when I click after on "run it" a message of error appear with the message : verify that the adress http://127.0.0.1:8000 is correct .

that's my config file:

adminpassword=******

streamid_1=1

When I run sc_serv.exe the server quit immediately and a txt file sc_w3c appear with:

#Software: SHOUTcast
#Version: 2.4.7.256
#Fields: c-ip c-dns date time cs-uri-stem c-status cs(User-Agent) sc-bytes x-duration avgbandwidth

I've changed the conf file with:

;------------------------------

the server exit imediately and a sc_serv.txt file appear with:

Is that a problem with my port ? I'm in a hotel in Italia and my IP adress is 78.134.2.*** and the website radiotoolbox said :

78.134.2.***:8000 is Closed

Reason Given: Connection refused
More about this error: This essentially means that the port is open to the internet but has no services associated with it. There is no firewall protection on this port.

and this is for all the port...

What's the problem ? how can I resolve it ? Thanks

it's due to known issue #7 from http://forums.winamp.com/showthread.php?t=373139#known which prevents the DNAS from running (and is why then all of the connection requests fail as there is nothing running to respond to them).

changing the folder you're running the DNAS from is the quickest fix for the issue until a newer DNAS is released with the formal fix for this issue.

Thanks !!!! It's work but I have an other problem ...

Stream is currently up but is not visible on the internet (YP error code: 480).
Listeners are allowed and the stream will act like it is private.

how can I resolve it ? I've created an authhash

you can force it by setting publicserver=always (though as you've got it set as 'default' then it should already be trying to list unless Virtual DJ is telling it not to) and you need to ensure that you've created the authhash for the stream.

you don't have to disable anything, you just have to ensure that you allow the DNAS through on port 8000 in the router and if needed on the OS firewall (though you probably don't need to do that in your case) so when you check with http://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/open-ports/ you then get a positive result (if that is not the case then the YP will keep failing to add you as it means no one else will be able to access your stream).

[edit]
ok, you've changed the post above to a smiley whilst I was replying.

you need to have access to things and trying to do it over a hostel network is not the thing to do. so I think you need to look at something more formal for hosting the DNAS on than trying to run it in the manner you seem to be trying to do.
