Multimedia Keys...

Hello,

First of all i'd like to say that Winamp is absolutly the best media player(well at least for myself and most of the people in my school),it's really a wonderful media player , so really thank you.

Now , i have a really annoying problem, and it has a little bit to do with winamp.
Whenever i enter Warcraft3:TFT , all of my MM keys stop working like Warcraft3 blocks them(although that they do work if Warcraft is minimized).
Now, i'd love to find out why and fix this and if you can help it would be wonderful.

If not , answer this : if Warcraft blocks intellitype(cause the keys work without the program on),why doesnt Winamp "take control" and uses the MM keys for the program itself ?
And if you cant help me fix the main upper problem, how can i fix this ?

I run windows XP so its NOT UAC , and i must say that its not all of the MM keys , keys that perform "normal" actions like macros that click on the mouse or shortcuts for program do work , while sound control / next track/previous track/play/calculator and some others just dont.

I think I had this same problem.

I am assuming you want to be able to change songs during gameplay?

In Winamp, CTR+P, then Global Hotkeys, and make sure both boxes are selected. That's what fixed mine.

Also, check the ACTIONS on the Last four Hotkeys in that same option menu. I didn't have to mess w/ mine, but you might.

But the problem is that they are checked and the hotkeys are working , only not when the game has focus (the hotkeys even work when the game is minimized).

BTW , i checked the actions and the keys DO work in warcraft 3 but they dont seem to do something...
