i searched for scrubs and got this as the first result:

I compared with watching my "digitised" copy of this episode, and I can tell that they are using voice recognition on the video stream, which is not that great.

Its certainly ambitious, I hope google can make it perfect (like they normally do)

[edit: it actually uses closed captioning, i wonder why then that the transcript for that scrubs ep is so wrong?]

Is it possible they just didn't have the time to proofread the captions before broadcast. Or, in the extreme case, that they were so short on time that it was online captioned.

Closed captions aren't something usually afforded a huge budget or amount of time.

Yahoo is trying to get it's video search off the ground. It worked fine for what I needed it to. Haven't checked out google's newest thing yet.

Yeah like Winamp's TV station that come free with the player. I can't hardly get on any of the chanels. It always says ICY 400 Server Full. I dont seem to be able to watch any of the shit....
