Checklist for all SB Live users experiencing problems:

Latest SBLive drivers: 1 | 2 | 3 | 4

nb. 3 is ver 5.12.01.3521 WHQL (further info)
1 & 2 are ver 5.12.01.3509 WHQL (as currently provided on official Creative sites)
4. is the very latest on offer (Aug 2002)

Legacy support section

Winamp 2.8x only:

After doing all of the above depending on your operating system,
install Peter's wa2update for Winamp 2.8x and try switching between WaveOut and DirectSound Outputs.
Win2k and WinXP users are strongly advised to use DirectSound Output.
Note: Winamp 2.9x users should NOT install wa2update patch !!!
