What did change?

Wiith the new Version of Milk drop, 1.4 some things seem to have changed a lot in the graphical processing.

Some of my presets look VERY different from what they used to be in the previous version.

For example, my preset, arising spirit has origianlly a backgroound, shaped like a triangle of these motion vectors, in the colour red.
It was pretty hard, to get it into that shape.
now that i have downloaded the new Version,a ll motion vectors are cramped on the upper side of the screen, messing the whole compostion up and the colours is not the same, too.
Similar things happened to my other presets, too.
Another example, my Preset, Deep Vent, was used to have when bright colours appear some sort of 'structure' behind them, i looked like bump mapoping from some games, i have no idea how i made this :P but now its gone and the whole 3D effect this created and the preset looks awful without it!

So can someone tell me, what they did change? and if it is possible, how i can revert my presets to their old glory even in the new Version?

Motion vectors are broken in the new version 1.04.

the mv_y is for some reason it inverted -(1-mv_y) or something

ALthough mv_dx and mv_dy appear to function in the same way.

This is hopefully going to be fixed in an upcoming version.

I do not know what you mean for Deep Vent though I could not see it when I viewed it under 1.03 but then it could be my graphics card here. Or it could have been dependant on your graphics card and an effect that only you could see (like Cosmic Echoes, Bytes and a few others with a GF2) and that a new version fixed that 'bug' that no-one before explioted.

It could also be that you were writing presets in an even older version, before the motion vectors were fully standardised - the motion vectors got changed back and forth for a little bit there, in an attempt to get the maximum features and backwards compatibility.

It did run as described for the red MV's under 1.03 so I am presuming that version.

and the same thing with 1.4,
see the 'background' thingy has gone

it has to be something in the background, since it does not move or change, when the colours or wave changes
