5.23 - Alt+L Media Library Shortcut Bug

HP Pavilion ze2000
Mobile AMD Sempron 2800+ (1.59GHz)
224MB RAM
Conexant AMC Audio Board
ATI RADEON XPRESS 200M
Windows XP Home SP2
DirectX 9.0c
Winamp Version 5.23 - June 8, 2006 (Pro)
Shared User Settings

The bug started just a few builds ago. When I [single] click on a playlist item, press Alt+L (to bring media library up), and then press Alt+L again, the media library flashes like it was never up in the first place. I have to set focus to one of the lists in the media library before I can use Alt+L to hide it again.

To dupe:
Make sure Media Library is hidden
Focus any Winamp window (Main, Playlist, or Equalizer)
Press Alt+L to bring up Media Library
Press Alt+L again trying to hide the Media Library (this is where it will just keep on popping up again like it was never up)
Focus the left list (Now Playing, Bookmarks, History, Local Media, etc) or the right list (containing Now Playing info, Bookmark items, History items, etc)
Press Alt+L and the Media Library will hide now

Please let me know when this is fixed. Thanks.

Hmm... I can't reproduce this. It works fine here.

Which skin are you using? Modern or Classic?

If classic skin, then maybe it's something to do with the gen frame winshade mode feature added by jtfe (gen_jumpex.dll)

Try unchecking that option in: Prefs > Jump to File > Misc tab

Please also confirm a clean install of 5.23 with NO extra 3rd-party plugins (mainly gen/ml plugins, but who knows, could be any...)

Classic, yes. And disabling that option did the trick. You're amazing.

bugger, only thing i can think of which would cause that mode to mess up could be the order in which the feature/plugins load (and since i can't reproduce it i can't attempt to fix it properly - all i've got is a new build in a few days time which delays the winshade feature being applied which may help with that issue *shrugs*)

Egg is amazing (though my little hint to him this time helped, heh)

if only it was that easy and i could reproduce it on any of my test setups well at least you've got a fix so that's the main thing really.
