making .cur files?
I made custom cursors for my skin....
I searched for a good 20 minutes and couldnt find anything here that pointed me in the direction of making a cursor file. That will convert a bitmap to a .cur file. i dont want to google it and download malware. Does anybody know of a good program to do this? |

I forget, were you using photoshop? There's a plugin that lets you save in .cur format.

For cursors I've (personally) got an antique copy of MicroAngelo. I've just looked at their webpage and everything has been upgraded andchanged. I also use Gif Movie Gear which allows to you save a gif as an .ANI or .CUR file - Both give 30 days free trial.

Oh, skryingbreath, just before I forget: Animated cursors are .ANI files, but you need to rename them to .CUR before you include them in the WSZ file. Winamp won't recognise them if thay stay as .ANI Just don't then try to open the newly renamed file into your icon editor - And I've done that a few times!
