There is a hacked version of the in_mp3.dll that will allow this check out http://some1.da***** on the files page it is called bwascfix.zip

actually that feature is built into winamp. I haven't tested it on a continuous stream like shoutcast (that may not work) but on a regular terminating streamed mp3 you can save it to disk by doing this:
1) with Winamp open press ctrl+p 2) go to input plugins 3) select Nullsoft MPEG audio..... 4) click configure 5) click streaming tab 6) put a check in the "save files to" box 7) click on gray button next to checkbox and specify where you want to save mp3s 8) if you want to save a streamed mp3 without having to listen to it all the way through you can change the "Streaming Data Buffer" value to some arbitrary number above the filesize of the mp3 to be saved. it will then prebuffer data up to the length of the song. |
