mp3s playing too fast!
I hope someone out there can help 'cause I'm stuck at work without any music to listen to :-(
I've got Winamp 5.02 and all my MP3s are playing about 20% too fast. The strange thing is the same thing happens is I play them in Windows Media Player (urgggh!). The MP3s play fine on other computer's on the network. I wonder if anybody had any clues as to what would be causing the problem? I'm running Win2000 SP 4, 2Ghz P3, 1gig RAM. It's a Dell corporate box, which says it has an AC'97 sound card inside. Hope someone can give me some help as I'm stuck listening to the same CD over and over again. regards, Richard. |

Excellent. Fixed my own problem. Apparantly on Dell computers the sound card gets detected incorrectly when windows2000 is reinstalled. Put the latest drivers on there and everything's fine now!
